Zone Chairpersons |
During the year, Zone Chairs:
• Play an active role in the leadership development and membership development at the club level and extension of new clubs in the District.
• Motivate and counsel club members; and monitor the affairs and health of each club.
• Could promote, with the help of District Membership Chair, a Club New Member Orientation program.
• Visit each Club in their Zone at least once.
• Hold “zone meetings” three times a year – September, November & March.
• Notify the District Governor of the date and location of the Zone Meetings, so that the District Governor and/or a Representative can also attend the zone meetings.
• Attend each Cabinet Meeting (scheduled for 07/16/11, 10/15/11, 01/14/12, 03/17/12) of the District 2-X1 and give a Report on their Zone.
• Ensure that the President and/or the Secretary of each Club update members’ full data in the LCI’s website to keep it current all the time.
